    Print it out and measure the handle length. It normally needs to be reduced or enlarged to make it the correct size.

    I am sorry Casey, I was responding to Bradyhuryn and typed you name by mistake. I use a 10 inch wheel also, both grinding bevels and the swedges. I figure if its working I need to keep using it.

    Casey, I have always used a contact wheel to grind them. When it warms up a little I will take a few photos.

    I grind them after the blade is finished and sanded to 600-800 grit. The blade shape dictates how I hold it. A spear or wharncliff shape I grind like starting the edge just tapering to disappear at the tip. A clip point I hold tip down and check the best angle with the grinder off. Start...

    Had some pro photos made of this one. 3 3/4 closed CPM 154 blades, springs and lock bar. Integral 416 bolsters and liners with mammoth ivory.

    Tracy it's 1/4 inch bead blasted 416. I got a good deal on some and when I run out I will go back to 3/16 stock. It will end up something like this.
