    My first necker

    Hi all this is the first neck knife i have made, i was going to make a nessie but the circular saw blade was too thin and my forge too hot, while i was heating the blade the spine melted into the forge so back to the drawing board. what i decided to do was a small neck knife for myself...

    my first fully completed blade

    This is the very first knife i made to completion. steel is EN9 hand forged with the fire scale left on, handle is stag antler with brass gaurd and pommel. blade length is 5.6 inches OAL is 9.5 inches sorry for the poor picture quality, thanks for looking. leigh

    Seasons greetings from the UK

    Hi all i'm leigh, i am a hobbiyist blacksmith and i am starting to dabble in bladesmithing. I like hand forged blades but i can appreciate beauty in any form. looking forward to getting to know and learn from my neighbours across the big pond.
