Hey guys. Just curious if anyone is going to organize a KITH for this year? I know last year we had a thread in January, I haven't seen any mention of one as of yet. I really enjoy them and hope to be a part of one again this year.

Forgot to post this the other day. Here is my knife from Duncan as well. This thing is a laser...super thin, scary sharp edge, and so comfortable to hold. Thanks again my friend.

Scott, we're having some trouble getting in touch with Duncan, as I have not received my knife from him either. Last check he hasn't logged in since July 16th. I'm worried that something may have happened to him or his family.

Well that about wraps it up, I hope the other guys will chime in so we can make sure everyone received their knife.

G10, taken to 600, is actually pretty grippy when wet and still looks good dry.

I 2nd the mineral oil wipe. Sometimes the scales will start to get a little "dry" looking, a quick wipe with mineral oil brings back the original finish. I usually go to around 600 or 800 as well and then buff.

Put mine in the mail today for George (TacticallySharp), been busy and no time to hit up the post office. My knife from Duncan Tipton is waiting on the sheath to be made, I told him to take his time...I want the full package :)

I agree with Darrin. Also, I think that with the required work to get the displayed results, the price per set needs to be cut by 50%. $40 per set is too high to then have to spend extra work filling voids with CA, sanding, reapplying CA, resanding, etc.

Wow, at almost $40 per set of scales, seems like a lot of extra work required to get a nice finish. The finish one the pieces shown on Boss's site needs to have it's process explained so more people aren't getting bummed out trying to finish it like micarta or g10 and wind up with the...

Duncan, what are the specs on your knife and did you make a sheath? Knife looks awesome.
