I need some good belts, the sears and ace hardware AO ones ive been buying arent working to well. I looked at the J-flex Tracy sells that may be a good option ?
Also i was recommended ceramic belts. Any opinions between them and AO ?

I,m looking for belts in 50-180 grits for hogging the metal off of the still hardened files i use a lot of.
 
For the longest time I had been using some 1x42 AO belts I got off ebay. They were cheap--15 cents each--and they worked well enough. I finally got around to using some ceramic belts from supergrit.com, and they are so much better. Grinds are more even, the cutting is more aggressive.
 
I also get mine from supergrit, been very happy with them. Norton Blaze ceramics are phenomenal!
