3 blade Sowbelly

I have been finishing up some knives for the upcoming Adelaide Knife Show on Nov 6-7.

I am really excited to show this one off as it is my first multiblade folder. I really need to get some better photos but I put together this quick edit.

  • 3/32 O1 steel
  • Stainless liners and bolsters
  • Milled relief
  • Jigged bone handles
  • A nice sowbelly shield as supplied from BossDog

It isn't perfect, the 2 overlapping blades just clear each other without rubbing I think they will get some rub marks on them eventually. I also didn't bend the sheeps foot blade fair enough into the middle which would have helped a lot with the clearance but you have to start somewhere.

I have to say thanks to Tony Bose for sending me the pattern and with some hints and tips, along with Kerry Hampton and Ken Erickson for sharing their knowledge too.

Thanks guys, This was certainly the most tricky knife I have made so far, I was really excited to show it off.

Well done mate. Will be glad to have a look at it in Adelaide. Should i bring a hammer to move that blade across a tad.......
