Hmm, I tried to submit a thread a second ago and it didn't post. I'll try it again.
I have the possible opportunity to purchase a 1hp 3ph motor that was used on a printing and graphics machine. It has an integrated variable speed controller. I, of course, don't have 3ph at my home but was wondering if it could be run off of a phase converter? Here is a link to a phase converter in the correct HP rating I found on Ebay.
