I have included a photo of Chuck with some of the knifes that we received from him at the National Southeastern Paralyzed Veterans trap shoot that was
held in July of 1999. The person on the left is Gus Farnum. Gus was the President of the Florida Gold Coast Paralyzed Veterans of America. The boy in the
middle is my son, Mike Hornbeck, who had won the Junior Division at the national shoot. Pictured on the right is the man himself, Chuck Staple.
Knife Number #4 was made by Chuck as a one-of-a-kind knife and was given to me as a gift. Chuck lived in the Los Angeles area. I had many frequent
flyer miles so I provided Chuck with a 1st class airline ticket to Greenville South Carolina for the shoot. In return, Chuck made the knife for me.
