A Hunter, a Boner, and a Chef Don’t Walk into a Bar

Kevin Zito

KNIFE MAKER
I recently finished these 3 along with a sheath for the hunting knife. The boning knife and the kitchen knife are roughly 6”(blades), and the hunter is 4.1”. Handles on kitchen knives are DIW, the hunter has a stabilized walnut handle. All wood is from @Gene Kimmi. The unsharpened edges are .015” or less on all three. The sheath for the hunter has a python inlay and pigskin liner. The hunter and the chef knife are made from 154cm and the boner is NitroV. The hunter and chef both have tapered tangs, and the hunter weighs in at 3.5 ozs. Bash the heck out of them... I need to improve BIG TIME so any and all critique is more than welcome. Thanks for looking.

By the way these are first 3 knives I’ve made completely (start to finish) on a 2 by 72 grinder. I want to say these are 10,11,12 or 9,10,11 overall or something like that. However, I could make an anvil out of the steel that I’ve used (and misused) along this 12-knife journey. I have learned everything from you all. It has been and will continue to be a true passion. If I ain’t grinding, I ain’t happy. That’s still so weird to me. Again, thank you all for everything you have given to me. Knifedogs for life. Z
