aluminum mould for slingshot lead balls ammo

I had been wanting to make a mould for lead balls ammo for a long time. I made a first attempt with a piece of aluminum for 6mm lead balls but it didn't work very well. however, I understood my mistake and with another (larger, flatter, more parallel) piece of aluminum I made a good mold for 8mm and 10mm lead balls. now I can quickly cast all the ammo for the slingshot I want!

Here below I attach the link to the mould machining/construction video and first castings of first lead balls.

That looks great and seems to work ok but I have to ask...wouldn't it have been faster, easier, and with a better quality ball to just buy a .45 or .50 cal.
muzzleloader roundball mould? they only cost around $20.00
I've been casting roundballs with a couple differant calibers for years and it doesn't take long to cast 50-100.

I don't know where to find such a cheap mold. however I enjoyed building it and learned something new so I'm happy anyway
