KNIFE MAKER
Decided to do another friction folder. This one is a bigger knife with 1095 blade and G10 handles.

Looks good to me J. Are you using any kind of washers? or relieving the inside of the scales?

Hey guys thanks for the kudos. Brad no washers used or relief of the liners, I will definitely do one or the other on the next one I do. I was thinking that being a friction folder I wanted some tension on the blade and it has some. Not to much it opens easily with one hand. The blade will hold in the open position but drops down for closing with a slight movement of the hand. What I didn't count on was the frame scratching the blade but I can see it has after I've opened and closed this thing a few hundred times.

That scratching is something I am always paranoid of... I think both methods (washer and relief area) are both valid. I just use the relief method because that's what I've done on slipjoints already.
