Best EDC for me

I'm looking for the best EDC knife I can afford right now. I need it to be durable and keep a nice edge. I don't want a blade too much over 3 inches 3.5 at most. The only problem for me is I don't want to spend over 60 dollars. What's the best I can afford? I've been looking at the kershaw skyline and ontario rat 2 which is better of those two? Any other option will also be appreciated.
 
Jraut, those models are almost identical- great steel and designs, one G10 and other Nylon6 scales so both very durable- the only thing I see is the Kershaw finger groove is farther forward and has more of a rest on back of blade and looks more comfortable and possibly better handling. If want to really know I would look at both 'in person' so look at the finer points like how smooth is pivot and lock-unlock and fit and finish details.
 
My favorite edc is a mini Griptillian. I bought mine a few years ago for $56, I assume that they may be a bit more now. 'It has a 154cm blade 2.90" long and the axis lock which allows for easy one hand operation.. Dan
