I love Larrin's research. It's one reason I keep finding myself gravitating to cruwear and m390 (now magnacut) for a highly balanced steel for most tasks.

I've heard a number of makers on different forums remarking on how underappreciated AEB-L is as a harder-use knife steel. Reading this article makes me think that is correct....
