Big Bowie to Little Guy - Finished

I had purchased some 26C3 a while back and decided to make a small pocket or neck carry EDC. The stock steel is .078 and this little guy is about 5" OAL. This has been quenched and tempered for one cycle. One more temper cycle to go.
FYI...this was advertised as being a good steel for a hamon and Rockwell hardness, and on another forum the guys are making chef knives from this steel.

Are you going to make chef knives? After buying some of the think stock, that was all they had initially, I also got some of the thicker stock. This is the first piece I've tried.

No I got the .150. I have this design I made. Its kinda like concealed carry fighting knife. I will post pics when done.

Thanks Sean. The thin stock was tough to grind. I did the heat treat prior to grinding. I really like the looks of the vintage micarta.
