Here's a big chopper I finally finished up tonight. Forged and ground from an old leaf spring.

OAL - 16 5/8"
Blade - 11"
Fully Convexed
Cocobolo
Peened Steel Pins

Full size bic for size comparison.

Some wicked looking teeth I filed into the spine.




Sorry, the pics arent too good from my phone but, it's all I got. This is my 6th completed knife by the way. What do you think?
 
Thanks for the feedback, Paul and John! This bad boy can chop! Chopped a hard fallen dry tree in half, 6-8" in diameter and the thing still shaves hair. That's what I'm talkin about! :D
 
5160 =built for major abuse, I love the stuff.

Nice work, and great serrations,,,they scare me way more then the sharp edge on this one,lol.

Raguel - I agree. This steel is tough and takes and holds an edge great.
Yeah, the serrations WILL BITE! lol
