Bowie w/bronze & inlay handle...

J. Doyle

Dealer - Purveyor
I just got this pic back of my latest bowie.

The blade is forged from w2 steel and has a neat "no- clay" or auto- hamon. The blade is 8 1/4" long and overall length is 13 1/8". The guard is sculpted from bronze and has rounded edges. The spacer is also bronze and features a stippled center band. The handle is African blackwood with two separate solid stabilized curly maple inlays.
The butt end of the knife features my signature carved flute and there is a decorative finial bolt cap made of bronze with stippled center to match the fittings.

Thanks to Jim Cooper for the outstanding pic!

Beautiful! Would you mind sharing what kind of bronze you use and where you get it? I am hoping to use some soon.
