Just finished this 'Brut de Forge' knife for myself, a Drop point Bushcraft/hunter all handmade without use of electra or machines.
It's a mix between Japanese style/techniques and western, made out of reclaimed materials.
Toolsteel (old car tire lever) with Yaki-Ire/Hamon - water quenched
Fingerguard/tsuba forged red copper with hammer stroke pattern
Water buffalo horn
Red copper pin
Bog oak wood from the 15th century - old Dutch house foundation found under the water and is probably Russian imported oak wood.
Total lenght 27,8 cm
Cutting edge 14,6 cm
Thanx for watching Igor.
