Utility or woods knife made using Aldo's 1095fg steel. Nice comfortable knife that will handle many chores easily. It is scary sharp and ready to work.
This sheath offers the most carry options of any sheath I have made to date. It is a modular kydex/leather hybrid that can be carried vertical, horizontal, scout, or as a dangler. The sheath becomes a dangler if the thumb strap is undone and wrapped back around the belt loop and snapped there. Take out a few chicago screws and remove the kydex liner for additional carry options in vertical, or horizontal by adding your large tek-lok. By the way it is totally ambidextrous. It will also have a kydex fire steel loop that will connect at the bottom.
Steel- 1095fg x 1/8
AOL- 9 1/4 inches
Grind- Flat
HT- In house- blade was clay coated, edge quenched and tempered for two 2 hour cycles
Finish- Hand sanded to 2000 grit, etched and polished back out to reveal a nice hamon
Blade- 4 1/4 inches with jimping on the spine
Handle- 5 inches
Scales- Black g10, the scales were shaped and bead blasted for a smooth uniform appearance that still gives a nice grippy feel.
Hardware- 10mm stainless chain bolts
Sheath- Modular ambidextrous Leather and Kydex with multiple carry options and styles
