Here is my latest offering. A great blade with excellent balance and handling. You can chop trees or slice tomatoes with this one. As usual your comments and suggestions are very welcome.

I am in awe. Is the guard two pieces with resin between dished for contrast?

Thank you gentlemen for the compliments. This knife was both a challenge and a pleasure to build.

wall e, The guard is a single piece which has been treated with liver of sulfur in order to darken the copper. The darker recess you refer to is simply a hand filed groove in which the full patina is visible, versus the non-recessed areas, which are hand rubbed until a good and even contrast is achieved.

I like the copper guard. What else is between the the 2 guard pieces? What did you use to antique the copper?
