consensus on preferred satin finish products.

What does everyone prefer to use for your satin finished blades? I currently use conditioning belts (3m), but am currious if anyone prefers the scotch brite buffing wheels or other and why?

I use Mobil One 5w30 and Scotch Brite pads by hand.
