cutting competitions

Does anyone know the rules and the obstacles to blades cutting competitions? I looked on youtube and found some but they where old 2009.
And is there any cutting clubs in wi. And last what geometry are most cutting blades convex? flat?
Please help have a friend who really wants to do this and maybe me?

The guy you should try to talk to is Dan Keffeler here is a post about the edge angles and blade thicknesses he uses http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/854913-CPM-3V-Knife-D-test it starts about half way in the post.

I think he has also won a couple cutting comps at the national level.

Its a slippery slope your on pretty soon you will be trying to find a 3/8" chunk of M-4 or 3-V.

Thanks guys now I am still looking for the obstacles I will need to build my own and in the right order? are they the same every year?
