Dagger ground drop point

Dagger ground 5160 utility knife with stabilized Redwood burl handles.
3.5" blade with full length false edge 4" handle made from 1/4" 5160
 
Now that is different, I don't know if I remember ever seeing a dagger grind with that style of handle. That is one of those that'll cut you coming and going!!!

It makes you go :les:........ but, even if it might not be my cup of tea so to speak, I can appreciate the quality of the work!! Really good workmanship! I can't say I dislike it there is something that keeps drawing me back for another look!!:35: It goes against conventional thinking when you thing dagger grind! I love the handle, the wood kind of reminds me of a leopard's spots!!

The top grind is a false edge ground to just a bit thinner than a dime. Started as a swedge but in trying to get it even on both sides became what you see lol
 
Not much I just tend to have my thumb and finger out on the blade when field dressing a deer. Sorry I should not have said that, was just thinking out loud. Ed
 
No worry man. I'm still learning and won't stop learning so was just curious as to how I might have messed it up lol :)
