A freshly finished carbon steel cutter.

It is 30,5 cm long with a 16 cm long blade, which I forged of 5160. The handle is full tang, made of wenge, a hard exotic wood.

Nice. Those wenge scales should be up to the task on a chopper. I've worked with it and I'd say it's comparable to hickory as far as being a tough wood. Splintery to work with and the dust is toxic. Worth it though as one can see in your photos.

Yes, I can attest to that one. The splintery part and the horrible dust is a pain in the ass :D but the finished aspect and its toughness sure pays back all the effort.
