Dave Cole Knife. FOR SALE. MAKE OFFER
OK guys and gals, Heres one of Dave older pieces. Its quite a amazing combination of materials and workmanship. This one has a 1095 Blade marked D Cole with file work on the spine just in front of the handle.
Blade is in new, from the maker condition. with hand rubbed finish.
The handle on this one is made up of many pieces, so starting from the guard and working back its Ironwood, Mammoth Ivory, Ironwood, musk ox spacer, stag, musk ox spacer and finally Ironwood. With brass spacers between each piece. The fit up on some of these areas where the brass spacers are, look to have opened up slightly from materials shrinking or moving.. but overall the feel of the piece is great, and it just gives this beautiful knife more character.. There have been no modification or repairs preformed.. Its in as made condition.
The OAL of the knife is just under 10" with a 4 1/2 inch blade. This one comes with a great sheath made by Kid Terico, AKA Terry or KT. Please see pics for details on both the knife and sheath..
