Deer season wrapping up

What’d y’all knock down this year? It was a tough season here (staying to warm.) but managed to knock down this young nine this morning. May try to track down a doe to finish off the season

My farm in Ohio is chock full of deer, the problem is I live in California right now!

I let the young guy on the next farm over hunt my land. I haven't asked him how the season went yet...

Nice deer! The one I got was too big to get a photograph of without a panoramic lens. Maybe next year I’ll get one of those little ones that you can photograph with just one picture.

We done alright.
Those deer 24 hours prior 20 minutes apart and 1/2 mile away.

I got this 8 point this morning at 8:00 in North Florida, about 110 yards. he came out of the wood line on to a trail and started walking away
I drilled him in the back of the neck with a 6.8 SPC.

You guys have me all excited.
Its summer now where I am, with the hunting season opening up in May and closing end of August. As it is now the New Year the outfitters have started to advertise their pricelists for the coming season. I have a prelimenary booking for the first week of August.
