Having used a straight razor for 10 or 12 years and needing a new one in a desperate way this is this is the result. Having searched the internet for useful information on building a razor I emailed a Mr. Charles Lewis. He was kind enough to answer a few of my questions. The following is the first attempt. Far from perfect but she shaves. I tried not to get to carried away on it I didn't want a bunch of time in something that might not even shave. After about a half dozen shaves I can say that I am very pleased with the outcome. Just what I needed a new distraction. Any way its a 7/8 size, 1084fg steel, ivory paper micarta scales. As usual sorry about the picture quality.
