DRO for milling machine

After years of using this machine I finally put a DRO on the Z axis.
the friggin scale on this thing was in inches and mm when the machine is capable of holding a thousandth of an inch.
the DRO came from Amazon for $28.00 and is accurate to one thousandth, it works great and matches up with the increment marks on the dial.
after some backwoods engineering I got it installed and working perfect, this will really come in handy counter boring holes in my folders along with a bunch of other drilling projects. :D

Wish I’d have done it years ago :D
That a Jet mill? Kinda looks like one I was thinking about getting this summer.
it’s not a branded Jet but I think most milling machines that look like this are built in the same factory and just branded for whatever company that imports them. So if it were next to a Jet you probably wouldn’t see any difference if they were made within a few years of each other.
