These have been taking me forever to finish pre-HT.
15 kitchen and neck knives from .045 CPM-3V stock.

They'll be off to Peter's tomorrow.

I just packedged up a batch of Kitchen and hunter blades to send to Peters. Im trying AEBL for the first time. Ever tried it?

Yes, it's currently my preferred stainless for larger kitchen knives. I don't use it for paring knives, etc. because I can't
get it in 1/16" and think that 1/10" is too thick for a parer. This 3V is an experiment based on the idea that thinner is
really better for parers. Given how very, very cruddy the stock was, I probably won't be using any more. I've got some
clean, ground 1/16" S35VN for my next batch of parers, but after I grind the AEB-L blanks I have profiled (mostly gyutos and
Chinese cleavers).

I feel like Im working in a sweat shop! Got my blades back on Tuesday, havnt had a night yet that I didnt leave the shop before 11:00 pm!
Have forgotten what grinding hardened blades was like! Im assuming you are grining after HT with that thin stock.
