Thanks, this may convince me to keep a few larger designs on hand. It's 9" OAL with a 4.5" tang and blade.

That's where I got mine. You have to check his site often, he is out of stock on a lot of his patterns but it's well worth the trouble. The micarta is top shelf for sure.

He will also custom make it for you but smallest amount is a 6 by 12 slab. But it is nice to work with.

i would those are amazing looking knives. they have a well balanced look to them.
