I finished and delivered this 4 1/2" dogleg trapper today. It has a CPM 154 CM blades & springs, integral bolsters, blade pivot bushings, and bone scales with my jigging. Thanks for looking, comments are welcome. Keith

Hi Keith, Looks great! I noticed that you are using pivot bushings in the last few that you have posted. Just curios if that makes a smoother open and close or is it just preferance?

Doug, I can't feel any difference in opening and closing. The main difference is that you can peen the pivot together harder and tighter so there's way less chance of the ends of the pin ever showing. The bushing is @ 3/4ths of a thou longer than the thickness of the blade.

Thanks for the comments guys!
