First of a Pair (Updated)

This is the first of a pair that I'm calling "Hunting Buddies". Designed as a gift set for a Father and Son.

Specs:
Steel is 1084 from Aldo.
Handle material is natural and green burlap micarta. Pins and lanyard tube are natural micarta.
White liners and white bolster accent stripe.
Cutting edge is 3 7/8.
Overall length is 8 1/4.

This is the larger of the two or the "Father". Hoping to have the "Son" done tomorrow.








This is the pair together during rough shaping.



Finished up the "Son" over the weekend.
Same material as the "Father".
Specs for it are:
Overall Length 7 inches.
Cutting edge 3 1/8 inches.
Kydex sheaths completed.
Both are shaving sharp and ready to go.

Green burlap was purchased from Jackknife Composites. jackknifecomposites@gmail.com. I believe the natural came from Shadetree Composites. Both guys are great to do business with and make excellent material.
