This survival/prepping blog that I haunt had a Altoids Tin survival kit contest.
I went for the neo-tribal fish and fire thing.
The tin was too shiny and had no character so I made char cloth in it, rawhided and beaded it.
Some fishhooks from iron cut nails, a kiridashi to dispatch and clean and a steel for fire.

Very cool!!! There is no mistaking who made this. I could be anywhere on the planet and see this and know Randy Church was the maker. :s11798:

Thanks Wade...it was a fun contest. There was 36 entrys, everybody from Zombie hunters to...well,me.
It was amazing the amount of useful stuff these guys stuffed and wrapped around an Altoids Tin..
