Time for everyones next laugh.2thumbs:D What all goes into a folder? As in I know what steel I want for the blade. Now what else do you use? I know Ti is used. But what else? NOW quit laughing or you will hurt yourself. Thanks, James

All good answers. What kind of folder? Slipjoint, liner lock, frame lock, friction folder or others? Slipjoints normally use 410SS liners with whatever blade steel you prefer. Stainless pins and bolsters are the norm. liner and frame locks normally use titanium for the frames with screws holding it together. Once again, blade steel is what you prefer. There are so many variables to all of these knives. Its really unlimited as to what you could use but it also needs to stay practical.

Frame lock is what I am thinking about. Like them and was thinking that designs could be cut in the sides. Ti comes in different colors doesn't it?
Still looking at a lock blade design.
