Friction Folder Lock Stop

Hey, guys. I'm getting ready to try my first friction folder and I'm doing some research. I read Anthony's "build along" post here on KD's and loved it. He mentioned the problem with friction folders opening in your pocket and his solution was to build-in a pocket clip. I recently watched a You Tube video called "A Crazy, Complex Friction Folder" or something like that and the guy who made it described a pivot post called a "D" post that just slightly locks the blade down when it is closed the last 1/4". I am wondering if any body has ever heard of this or know about it. Thanks,

Wallace

I've made quite a few friction folders and never had or heard of any of mine opening in your pocket. If it's your first one, I say keep it simple. Look on YouTube for Sugar Creek Forge and see his build along. He even posts a template to use to help you make a friction folder. Very good videos!

Best of luck.
