I am always asking myself, what's the grit size equivalents between the "P" grit on a bonded belt, the "A" rating on a Trizact belt, and a micron size.
Well, here's a handy little chart that mostly matches up those 3 grit designations. The bolded numbers indicate common belts that I use.
I've got a couple other charts like this one, but they are not quite as easy to read.
Of course these designations don't address backing weights or bonding materials (belt flex and wet vs dry).
