Another one going to KT.

The head is 9 1/2" with a 3 1/4" cutting edge forged from a leaf spring. The 18" handle is hickory with raw hide, brass tacks, natural gut sinew and hemp cord. The top cap is wrought and the loop at the end is bronze.

Feel free to comment good, bad or other.

Wow thats awesome. Is the blade etched or just out of the forge and the scale cleaned off? This is another want to learn to make item for me.
 
K thanks Wade. There is some time thought and love definately put into the design and deatail of this hawk. How do you forge the bands on the spike? Or is it file work?
