I was straightening some tangs on regular HartSteel razors to turn into 'Faux Kamisori' blades like this:

I was working on a group of four and the tail end of one was crooked when it came away from the flame and hammer. So I hoped it might be soft enough to 'convince' it straight. WRONG. Snapped the end of the tang off and got sent to the junk bucket, where it sat for a month or more.
Then the other day I got a wild idea to make a hidden tang 'kamisori' out of it. It turned out pretty good, I think:
