I'm Bob and have lurking around here and other sites for several years. Enjoy reading about making knives, different steels and other knife stuff. I made a knife about 35 years ago out of a hardened planner blade and decided I would nor make another until I bought a decent grinder. I haven't done that yet, but I may before long. I live in the metro Atlanta area, so I hit the Blade Show every year and it's always very interesting.
