Ironwood hunter/utility knife...

That is flawless as usual John, classy but not so fancy as one would be afraid to use it. Very nice. What do you finish you blades with when you do a hamon? Wax, oil etc.
 
That is a subtle beauty! It almost looks like it would be at home alongside a Kentucky rifle...

perhaps my new favorite Doyle knife...(but then I would have to review all the one's I thought that about...lol!)
 
The guard is very intriguing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a guard with a lip extending out around the whole outer edge. If I was drawing something like that it would feel wrong, but seeing it- it looks perfectly right.
