Hi All,

Does anybody know if Majestic Forge is still in business?

I ordered a deluxe three burner forge from Majestic Forge on January 2nd.

I was charged $598.24 the same day.

I received a generic email response receipt on January 2nd.

I have not received any other communication from them.

The website says 3-5 weeks shipping time. It's been 5 weeks.

I emailed them 4 times over the last 5 weeks with no response.

I've called them a dozen times on various days during business hours in their time zone, but no one has answered the phone.

The phone mailbox is full so I can't leave a message.

There are a number of reasons he's out of touch, vacation or trip isn't one of them. death, serious accident, etc can happen, but even then since it's been a month I'd feel the need to file a charge back to card just to cover my bases. Most good vendors don't charge the card until they're ready to ship.

I saw a similar thread on Reddit. It looks like there may be a number of people in the same situation.

That gives an explanation of why they've not shipped, but there is still NO excuse for charging the card until ready for shipping, or at least building forge so shipment is only a couple of days away.

If this is the case they should have given customers the option to bale on the sale! They also should have explained this when you hit the order button and Ken your right they should have never charged a card until they shipped!

Agreed, I think a simple heads up about the situation is warranted on the website so people can decide how they want to proceed. Being upfront would go a long way to making customers feel like they weren’t just trying to collect money and not ship anything.

It appears Majestic Forge is still technically in business, but many customers, including yourself, have reported similar issues: long delays, no communication, and unreachable support. At this point, I recommend filing a chargeback with your credit card company or PayPal, and possibly reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. This seems to be the only way people have been able to get a response or refund recently.

My read of Majestic's response is that there may, or may not, be legitimate issues impacting the business. It's a poorly written set of excuses for bad customer service. Like others have said, do anything you can to get your money back and then look for another supplier.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I hope you recover your money.

I had one of the forged and didn’t care for it. And my phone calls when I wanted information never answered.

Chili forge is pricey but customer service and product are top notch in my experience.
