Buck 110 Collector and Casper's best friend
I had the first sentence saved in my computer files and without the aid of a beer or two, (my neighbor left a can of Bud in my frig and took my Beck's last week) I slapped a few words together and now it's finished. When the mood hits me, I usually make things rhyme... this doesn't rhyme and I don't care.
I never knew…
I never knew what a good dog I had
until you were taken from me.
The good Lord above… he took you home
and left me with a broken heart.
You were a friend to me all of your life
and stayed by my side through it all.
I considered you my very good friend
now I’m lost without you sitting by my side.
You saw me through the good times and bad
and never once did I hear you complain.
I’ll end this now but will never forget
the dog that brought so much joy to my life.
