Finally finished the sheath! It took a while to get some leather(a whole nuther story)but it is finished in time for the drawing. I etched the blade in a mild acid solution and stained the wrap handle. I thought it looked too "fleshy" so I tried to darken it. Next time I will stain my rawhide before I wrap and shellac. Good luck on the drawing.

Funny, I was just about to write, "I bet that is a chopping @@@@@@@," when I saw Wade's post. How long is the blade (around 7")?

Kevin, the blade is a little over 10". I really have not taken it for a "spin" so-to-speak, around the wood pile but it feels good in the hand and has a decent balance. Thanks for taking a look.
 
I just posted on another thread that my knife was the biggest in the KITH. I might have to go back and edit that... :)

Awesome work man! I like the little stop at the end of the clip, nice touch.
