Lile "First Blood" UTILITY SERIES thoughts?

Hello,

I am new to the forum. Thanks for having me.

As a kid I loved the Rambo film and finally am in a position in life where I can afford a "real" version of this First Blood knife.

I am looking at the First Blood UTILITY SERIES knife.

First Blood Knife - Rambo Knife - Jimmy Lile Knives​

Modeled after the original Rambo knife, the Lile FB is stamped with the trademarked LILE name and available in high-end Cerakote finish or Utility series.

Questions I would be really grateful for some thoughts on.

I would like to hear from past or present owners of the knife. Is it high quality? Do feel it was a good "investment?"
Apparently the knife is made by Vaughn Neeley. Will it retain value if kept pristine? Just wondering since it is technically not a true Lile First Blood (which I could not afford at this point in life lol ).

$2,000 to $2500 for that knife? WOW!! I suspect it will hold it's value about like some of those offerings by Franklin Mint. A few years back I asked a similar question and found by research the answer was a resounding NO! for the Franklin Mint offerings.

Note, that series is NOT made by Jimmy Lile. The knife is only a copy (inspired by) of the original knife. where is it made? who actually made the knife? Looking more I see the contact info is

Thanks it is serious. Hill bought the rights to the Lile Knives. They are made by Vaughn neeley since Lile passed away. So it is an "official" copy of the knife used in the Rambo films. Those knives in the film are rare and go for 30-75K if you can find one. This one is a close as you can get to real thing. Thanks.

Thanks I think you did answer my question. You are probably right it won't hold its value. Especially since in 20 years only people who know First Blood movie is will be old geezers and the knife is as you say a copy. Thank for your input. Appreciate it.
