I made this for my Godfather. He sent me a piece of bog oak a while back when he found out I was making knives. I had a chunk of file, so I made him a small every day carry. It's about as big as most folders I have when open. The scales are bog oak and yellow box burl with white liners.
My buddy is a photographer and offered his services, here is what he did:

I truly hope he likes it. It's one of my favorites to date. And even though files aren't optimal, they sure look slick when they are finished.
