Lock Back Elk scales

This is my first lock back and first time using elk antler. A friend requested a knife based on a Kershaw "Black Horse" model which I discovered is very close to a Buck 110.

A2 blade and spring RC 61 and 48
SS liners relieved w/ nickel silver bolsters
The elk outer skin being so thin i laminated white G10
1/8" pin and bushing.

Locks tight with smooth action and no play very happy with that part of the build, fit and finish has a lot to be desired.

I didn't weigh it,

Mark,

Great looking knife! Laminating white G10 to the scales sounds like a good idea to me. How thick was the G10? Thanks for sharing!

Paul, I learned a lot on this one . Been reading your WIP for a slippy so think I'll build my 2nd one.
Bill, .088" G10 the edges are porous and absorb dirt and grime, maybe they could be sealed?
Frank, Thanks your feedback it's much appreciated.
Don, Somebody let the cat out'a the bag! :what!:
