Looking for Scraps of Damascus

I have found a small idea that would look great in some damascus. The peaces I need are only 2"x3 1/2". I can not spend alot of money on this, but I do have some nice scales I can trade. Thanks. James Clair.
 
2"x3 1/2"xhow thick? I may have a few things laying around. Does it need to be hardenable or is it a purely decorative endeavor?

Any thing will work. 1/4" thick should be the best. This is something decorative. Might go into something usefull. Thanks.
