'Lost Knifemaker' pix and question.

Back around 2002-2004 I had purchased four miniature knives and a chain damascus bowie from Ken Davis. He was a deputy sheriff from down Florida way who had quite a talent at knifemaking. I've sent out an e-mail to the last address I could find but as of yet... no response. Does anyone know if Mr. Davis is still making knives?

Ken was a member of the Knifemakers Guild and the Florida Knifemakers Association. I could find no recent information on him.

Hi Gary


I appreciate the interest, I certainly consider myself a knifemaker just not a very active one these days. A few promotions at my day job have basically kept me out of the shop for a couple years. I still make 3 or 4 knives a year but most of those end up going to hunting buddies or family.


The upside for me is I have accumulated an awesome stash of materials during this lull so when I get back in the shop I expect some great things, looking forward to it.
