Here's a Japanese Tanto I just finished....
1075 steel with hamon, African Blackwood bolsters, tiger stripe maple with nickel silver pins.
hand stitched leather sheath with frog skin inlay. thanks for looking....:D

I really, really like that knife and the leather is super cool looking as well. Great job!!

Thanks guys. the frog skin was acquired at the blade show about three years ago Chris, I bought a few and had them put away.
I have a stash of stingray skins put away for some day too.
I believe these are two materials best seen in person before buying.
