12.0" OAL bowie model in 80CrV2 with Relic flats and satin finished blade. double dyed spalted maple handle.

Very nice. How hard was the grind on that one? I am looking at the grind line, which is straight and then there is the sharp corner on the blade yet you kept both straight and clean. Did you have to alter your normal grind technique?
 
thanks. yeah, this shape takes a little finesse. kinda hard to explain, just one of those things that you have to do a few hundred times. you just develop a muscle memory after a while.

much appreciated, i took the blade down to 400gr or so and then gave it a buffed satin finish. i was pleasantly surprised to see a faint hamon line appear. it wasn't intentional, but it was like a nice little bonus. try as i might, i couldn't get it to show in the pics. i never could get the light just right in the photos.
