hey guys

today while grinding the bevel on 2 small knives i got 'motor overload' error 4 times

that only happened before twice, when i changed the pulleys and they were sized wrong and the belt wasnt fit right, i dont remember the second

i have been using the set up for a while now and been running smooth..ish

any idea why that could have happened?

thanks

check with the VFD manufacturer. You can probably e-mail them and ask about it. The probably want happy customers. Just do a search (Google?) for their name and you will probably find their web-site.

If your VFD is converting 120v single phase to three phase and you have a GFI in the circuit, you are probably blowing the GFI. After you have done that several times the GFI is ruined. Happened to me. I had to plug the VFD into a 220v single phase circuit (clothes dryer) and buy a new VFD which could convert 220v single phase to 220v three phase.
