My humble little hatchets...

Not on the scale of most of the things I see in here, but I've been working on these lately...

They are about 12 1/2 inches long and made out of 1/4" O1.

The one with the natural canvas micarta is the original version and the green one has some tweaks made to it, namely the rounded index on the handle and the bigger/reshaped handle end with lanyard hole

I want one. Looks great. First hawk/axe I have seen with no poll or spike that I really like. Well done sir.

I don't know about humble, maybe killer, super sweet, and great looking.

You did great with those!

Now that's what I call a nice Christmas present!!
much better than socks, ties, aftershave or soap on a roap

Very Nice work - I like it a lot.

Finally finished three more of these (other than sharpening. The gentleman that makes my kydex sheaths and holsters prefers to work on them that way)...

I got done with the third one today after dark, so no pictures of it yet (my indoor pictures don't come out well... especially since my only camera is my Iphone).

I have a lot more grinding and sanding to get to. There are five small camp hatchets at the end of that row and two longer 15" models that have actually been cut out and hanging on my wall since 2012... They'll finally get finished soon.
